Frequently asked questions
Can you learn to snowboard at home?
Not entirely, no. Snowboarding needs time on actual snow to build the balance and edge control, and nothing replaces that. What you can do at home is arrive ready: understand the technique before you strap in, get your board and bindings set up properly, and know what you are aiming for. That is what the course is for, so your first day on the mountain is spent riding rather than working out what you are meant to be doing.
How long does it take the average person to learn snowboarding?
Around 3 to 10 days to get the basics and ride down a beginner slope confidently. The spread is wide because most of it comes down to how much of the first few days you spend falling over and working things out, versus knowing what you are trying to do before you get there.
Is 50 too old to learn how to snowboard?
No. Plenty of people start in their fifties and beyond. Progress may be steadier and you will want to be more careful about how hard you fall, but the technique is the same at any age, and understanding it before you go matters more the less time you have on the snow.
What do I actually get for ยฃ9 a year?
The full video course, all the guides, and every update as it lands. It renews annually, so you keep access for as long as you want it, and you can cancel any time. The free tier stays free either way, with the gear, setup and maintenance guides.
